This is a really well designed cable.
A lot has gone into this seemingly simple cable. The socket has a dust cap to keep dirt out when not in use. There is also a Velcro cord wrap to keep the cord folded. The seller also includes an installed 20 amp fuse and an attached (but removable) thick plastic bag with a 20 amp spare fuse and a 25 amp spare fuse. The clips have a strong spring and are designed to attach to round battery posts, flat tabs and screw battery posts. Since the cable does not contain a diode, it can be used for both charging and discharging the battery. It's well designed, well built, and worth twelve dollars.
