Form and function as advertised
I purchased these to replace the H3 halogen bulbs in my old off-road headlights (1997 Harbor Freight 100 watt). They fit straight in and, apart from having to close the gap in the socket with pliers (the spatula of a new bulb is much thinner than an old one), are easy to install. The amount of light seems comparable, but only random. I think it's 55 watts but I couldn't find any real comparison between the 100 watt H3 brightness and these bulbs. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and they fit my purpose perfectly
