If you are looking for a camcorder (FRIEND than your phone), this is a good choice. First off, this is NOT a 4k camcorder. The package includes 2 batteries, case, charger, AV cable and remote control. The remote control is ideal for those who want to set up a camcorder and remotely control the recording. However, after several days of use, I had no problems with the camera. The controls and setup are very intuitive. I don't need to read the manual to know how to use it. As it is an HD camcorder, the video quality can be similar to streaming NETFLIX videos, which is NOT BAD. The only drawback is the missing HDMI option. This is big crap. Since most televisions still have an AV input, this is not a big problem. All in all, considering the price, this is a great camera for any occasion. Much cheaper than losing a $500-$1000 phone.
