Haven't even used it yet but read other reviews. I only bought this to wear to bed while my hair is being crocheted. My hair is very large and my hair is synthetic so it works. As far as hair care goes, I would never buy this. First, it has a cotton lining. It's a no-go for your hair. Cotton breaks hair. Second, I understand why many reviewers say they warm up overnight. The satin outer layer is fully breathable. I cut off the outer layer and slipped it over the back of the chair to stretch the elastic, as many reviewers say the elastic is very tight, and it is. The cotton lining is breathable so I'll only use that. I would only recommend it for synthetic hairstyles. Edit: I see a few other reviews saying the lining is a silky mesh, but the packaging says it's cotton.
