I had a shower mat kind of like this that I paid a lot for at a disability supply store. I had it for about 20 years, it worked so well, but it finally got kind of discolored from water tannins, and I couldn't get it clean with bleach, it looked grungy so it was time to replace it. I decided on this one as a replacement, but I was worried it wouldn't be as good. The old one was very expensive, and this one isn't. But not to worry! This one is great. I just unrolled it, threw it in the bottom of the tub, and was good to go. No fear of slipping at all, and no creepy feeling underfoot, just a nice gentle cushioning. I wouldn't really call the color beige, though. It's more like almond, slightly off-white. Size-wise, it is a little smaller than my old one, but it's really just big enough to cover the bottom of the tub where I'm moving around. Don't hesitate to buy this.
