The cups themselves are probably worth 5 stars and the price is very good. They arrived from Revain in perfect condition. Some other buyers here have reported defects. Mine were perfect. But they are a bit big for a traditional sized latte. A common Italian recommendation for a latte or cappuccino is "6 ounces". A Seattle-style latte is often 10-12 oz. It's a matter of taste and preference. I prefer 6 ounces. Since many other people said they were 8oz and the description on both Revain and the manufacturer's website indicated they were only 6oz, I ordered them. Revain has since changed the description on the website to 8oz. I decided to measure the actual size with a digital scale. I put the cup on the scale, zeroed the scale and filled it with water. The water content was 8 oz. Not 6 as advertised. I then took some existing cappuccino cups that I liked and measured them. I thought they were 6 ounces. Not correct. The weight of the water that filled them was 7 ounces. This means these cups are a little larger than expected, but not as big as I thought when I found out they held 8 ounces of water. The solution for me is to fill them just below the brim. Now an important note. Why does the manufacturer claim 6 ounces when it's actually 8 ounces? The answer is that ounces are sometimes a measure of weight and sometimes a measure of volume. dense as water. This means that frothed cappuccino milk has more volume than water of the same weight. I think 6 ounces of frothed cappuccino milk is about the same volume as 8 ounces of non-steamed milky water. As for the other cups that were advertised as 6 ounces but actually held 7 ounces of water, they also held less fresh milk. Just a moment. I have Doppio espresso cups from the same manufacturer. You are excellent. The manufacturer and Revain state that they weigh 3 ounces. I weighed her. They hold exactly 3 ounces of water.
