Upon receipt I had to wait for a sunny (not rainy) day to "charge" them in the sun for several hours ". Watch. This is said to activate the charcoal to fully purify the air/eliminate odors. I currently use a plastic drawer to prevent odors from building up inside and to eliminate temporary plastic odors. There are 3 S hooks, a suction cup and a piece of string. I personally would prefer 4 S hooks to these other things, but that's just my preference. I think it will take some time to see if they stay charged all month (before needing to "charge" in the sun for a while). All in all, for my purposes, they seem to do their thing in a matter of days. I haven't found any flaws in them yet. Thank you for reading.
