Today I found out that the case of the phone is broken. (See picture #1). I keep my phone in a holster 24/7. It never sits outside of the holster. However, I regularly take my cell phone out of the holster when I'm taking photos, making calls, etc. When I'm done, the cell phone goes back into the holster. Not sure if this was due to the phone being constantly taken out of the case. Holster or something, but the way the case ripped, it shouldn't have been. The plastic there is really thin, so it's probably just loose. My case has existed since July 20, 2020. Today is November 11, 2020. It hasn't even been four months!?!? I've never had a phone case break so quickly after buying it. In fact, I don't think I've ever broken a phone case, period. I bought this case because it is "military grade", "12ft drop test", looks like a good strong durable case and really liked the color. me. I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've dropped my phone. For a phone case that claims to be "military-grade" and "tested for a 12-foot drop," it certainly hasn't survived multiple drops (all of which were much smaller than a 12-foot drop). Even the "tempered glass" screen protector wasn't good. After a few weeks of use, the bulletproof glass cracked (see photos 2 and 3). It's hard to see, but the screen cracks at the edges. It also scratches VERY easily, making it really difficult to see the real screen. And the screen protector is smaller than the screen itself, which is really strange to me. I often use a stand. I can monitor our sons baby monitors through my phone so I always have my phone handy. It seems pretty flimsy/cheap but I haven't had any issues. I'm not sure how long it would take. I also really like the strap that comes with the phone. You attach one end to the case and if needed you can attach the other end to it to wear around your neck. I've never used a strap but I still think it's a very handy and smart thing for a phone. I LOVE the color. It really stands out. (Orange). With the tempered glass screen protector, the touchscreen worked great. I had no problems at all. I really wish the case wouldn't break. Otherwise I would have given this case a much higher rating. The box the case comes in says it comes with a lifetime warranty, but upon examining it more closely, I found that it only covers manufacturer defects. Updated: 12/20/11. Today is the day after I posted this review. The piece that broke off fell off today. I confess that this does not affect the functionality of the case, but it still hurts the eyes.
