No stand or instructions are included, but everything works great once you figure it out.
I may have ordered in a hurry but there is no stand (like the photo) and assembly instructions. You will need help to assemble the bars. Eventually I found out and used it in a photo shoot. Ideal for protection from the scorching sun for photographing 1-2 people. I find it a bit overpriced, but it really serves the purpose I wanted it to serve.
