Review on Shuyee DE3175 LED Car Bulb 31mm 1.25in DE3021 DE3022 12V - Super Bright 12-SMD 4014 Chipsets, 6500K White (Pack of 4) by Bill Snyder

Pros: The LED lighting works great for my standard FJ Cruiser hood. It also disables the gradient which looks very neat. Cons: Installation was terrible, one LED bulb broke. The reason for the pain is that this block doesn't have the "pinch" or "spike" on the ends of the connectors that are actually needed to interlock with the plates in the dome body. I carefully pushed the plates out a little further and then gently bent the underside of the plates to help this new LED bulb snap into place. All in all, installation was a pain, but the LED upgrade was badly needed and well worth it. Stock FJ owners will likely attest to this. Update: The light continues to work great, very bright and fades out with a gradient when turned off, which is really great. I had some extra LED bulbs installed on my other 2012 Nissan Altima and 2000 Dodge Dakota and they fit much easier than my FJ Cruiser. Toyota FJ terminals are "nonconformists" in this situation, and it's not the lamp seller's fault. The seller is also sincerely offering me a refund but as they are currently working fine except for a complicated installation I refuse to ask for them but I will give them five stars as the problem is on the limitation of the FJ Toyota Dome Lights. Terminals and easy installation on my other cars was a breeze.
