Well, a bright mirror with high magnification. Our old wall mirror was unlit and eventually gathered dust. We've had it for years. I thought I'd give this a try. Now the installation was a different story. There were mounting screws with threaded caps that help press the mirror against the mounting plate and eventually secure it to the wall. The screws were too long and the small caps would not screw onto the base of the mirror, causing the mirror to wobble and wobble. We had to cut the screws which created a problem with the screw threads. We also had to add small plastic washers (no instructions included) to the screws to make them more durable. Now these mounting screws only attach the mirror to the mounting plate. The thickness of the cabinet or wall has absolutely nothing to do with the required length of the mounting screws. Screwing the mounting plate to the cabinet was easy and was done with ordinary screws. Now that the mirror is finally up, it wobbles a bit when you manipulate it. Two more screws through the mounting plate into the surface it mounts to would be helpful. In short, this is a good bright mirror. However, installation and reliability could be better. Luckily my kids are all grown up now and she is treated better than the last one!
