After connecting to my network which took several tries, they work great. With the specified 400 lumens, they are not very bright (that's about 5 watts of LED). , or the 40-watt equivalent of an incandescent bulb), but they produce good patterns. Each of the six zones can be controlled separately for color and brightness. The options for creating your own animations are fairly limited, but plenty of them are included. Overall I'm glad I bought them but I would recommend this for a monitor, small corner or very small room. They are definitely not suitable for a large room where you need more light.
