Worked great on the first gear of the cassette but sounded distorted when I tried a different one. The sound in the headphones sounded perfect, but from the computer speakers it was very bad. After trying to figure it out, I gave up. Two days later I wanted to uninstall and reinstall the program hoping that would help. But I decided to try again first. And it worked great again. I transferred 3 additional tapes with no problems. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but it's well tolerated now, it's, 5 stars. It's easy, and I now have high-quality digital copies of some of my family's memorabilia. Thank you!
