I've been using the Philips Sonicare Series 3 for a number of years and have noticed that over time the motor doesn't run as efficiently as it did the first day. I saw this Oral-B for $15 thought it might be worth a try. To my shock and surprise, an entry-level electric toothbrush came to my rescue. The cleaning power and dynamics are a million times better than the Sonicare version. He did an excellent job removing plaque and cleaning the gaps between teeth. Don't forget dental floss, nothing can replace dental floss. it's pretty cheap but gets the job done. The brush head is made in Germany; Motor block/handle Made in Mexico. However, there is no trade-off in performance.
