So they are the same as all other Muzata LED tubes, standard size which makes the lens interchangeable with the tube. In this case, you get a black channel and a darkened lens. A shaded lens is good, although it reduces brightness significantly, so unless you want more subtle lighting effects, you should use a 12V LED strip. Black on black blends it into the crevices well, although you have to make sure you put them on a dark background or they'll stand out. The tube is anodized, not painted. The black line also absorbs some of the light inside, unlike the silver or white line, which reflects all the light.
