Review on SmartyKat Scratch Not: Ultimate Anti-Scratch Tape for Effective Scratch Deterrence by Chris Pinkston

My very friendly, strict indoor cat didn't have front claws when I adopted her - definitely a plus - but the need to scratch is obviously ingrained in cats because despite having a special scraper, he's always scratching other objects in the house. He's never damaged any of his chosen surfaces, so I'll let him follow his feline instincts. I bought SmartyKat Anti Scratch Tape in hopes that landing on it's sticky texture would stop it from bouncing further onto the bathroom vanity. Despite having a full bowl of quality water, he still feels drawn to the bathroom faucet, but closing the door isn't an option since his tray is there. In order to take advantage of the vanity, I was also able to constrain its placement to the area where it was most likely to end up. After understanding the above, it was easy for me to remove parts from unnecessary areas. Unfortunately the ones I left behind were almost stuck to the hard countertop material! I often use packing tape to remove various adhesive residues before resorting to something stronger or dirtier, but the adhesive on this scratch resistant tape is so strong that it actually removes the adhesive from the packing tape, leaving only a clear base. this tape! The counter was completely intact, but it took some effort to remove the anti-scratch tape and dissolve its adhesive. So keep that in mind when posting this feed.
