The first thing my kids say when they see this assembled was "why does my desk look like a toy, feels but not like that?"Mine, my parents wanted to buy it for my son for his new virtual classroom earlier this year but the looks made me think it was cheap so bought a kids chair instead (which by the way already has both chairs had broken).When I saw this for sale I bought it for my parents house and my husband and I were very surprised at how durable it is.The plastic is very thick while the metal is thick and heavy.The handles are very easy for my 4 and 5 year old to use and were easy to switch from side to side once we realized we had the handle attached to the wall.All the adjustable parts are easy enough for my 5 year old to do on his own. The only thing I would have liked would have been more space to store his books and supplies on the bottom or sides.
