I traveled around France on the Rick Steve Tour which meant walking all day including cobbled roads, climbing steps and steep hills. The weather was supposed to be hot, so I didn't want to take the heavy, elegant wool socks I usually wear when hiking. The travel company recommended a cotton blend. Looking at Revain, they seem to fit the bill and wick moisture well. These were the BEST socks. I just loved her. Others had blistered feet but I felt as comfortable as possible and was able to keep running at the end of the day. They have a nice tongue that sits over the heel to prevent sock slippage and heel calluses.
