This bow tie was actually bought by a cat for a special occasion. Don't worry, it will be loose enough for him to slide out if he runs away from us in it. If I were going to wear it for long periods of time I would look for it with an elastic band or velcro or even make the above adjustments myself. When he's done with it, I can actually wear it myself. We will see. That makes him really very neat.
