This is a wonderful bag with rustic charm from another time several centuries ago. Its soulful presence is unlike any other bag I've owned and I've always found this quality of carrying Frye accessories very useful. The polish of the soft, scented leather is exquisite, as are the thick pewter colored hardware. Warm, attractive cognac color with subtle honey and caramel tones. The size is perfect for accommodating more than just your essentials and the front pocket is a great looking feature for keeping your essentials close at hand. The north-south design gives the bag a chic, modern quality that makes it suitable for many environments. I've only had this bag for about a month and already the skin is even more oily and supple with a warmer sheen to the patina. The price of the bag was certainly an investment, but what impresses me about Melissa's leather is the exceptional durability that goes along with the softness - this bag will last a very long time.
