Uncomfortable placement of various keys, generally decent

Worked on this keyboard for a couple of hours. Here are my first impressions based on normal usage - email replies, some page edits and browsing. Oh, and writing this review. ADVANTAGES: - Excellent quality. I like that the keyboard is placed on magnets so you can adjust the position depending on the angle you place your device's screen. The feel of the faux leather cover is quite nice when everything is closed, the feel is firm. - Feel - Both tactile and audible feedback can be felt when typing. Overall nothing bad but if you have longer nails the clicking will be a bit loud if you try to be quiet. If you love mechanical keyboards, this will be quite nice. - General typing - nice little key bouncing when typing, but a little tight in terms of finger placement. I have large hands for a woman and can type fairly quickly without checking my finger positions. The shift, backspace, and enter keys all seem to work without having to look down or think twice about proper placement. Keyboard light - coolness. Nice and bright. I'm not sure I would use it often unless I was looking for a specific key that I don't use often. The button with the lightbulb icon feels nice. CONS: - The function button is to the left of the control button. sooo If you're a keyboard shortcut user with big keys, trying to press CTRL C or CTRL V means you're reaching for the function key, not the control key. It took me a while to figure out why the copy and paste wasn't working. - Delete button - does not work by itself. You must select a function key for it to work. Again, there is no SHIFT DEL function for bulk selection for keyboard shortcut users. I noticed this when trying to delete dozens of emails from my inbox at once. This doesn't happen with regular keyboard shortcuts. In general, I like the keyboard. Since the Surface Go is a backup computer for travel or a quick check-in, it's a great fit. I'm sure if I had used it day in and day out while traveling my muscle memory would have adjusted well to the odd little issue with control button placement.
