i'm 5'5", usually a medium in shirts and large in leggings. i ordered these is XL and they fit well. however, these are suuuuper stretchy in the waist and the legs are quite loose, so i probably could have gone down to a medium and still had them fit well. the material is soft, comfortable, and moves with you. they're very pretty and look nice with a black crop top or tucked in black tank top. just note -- these are see through! whatever underwear you have on will be in full view if you bend over or in the right light. i don't care because i have no shame, but i'm sure most people don't want see through pants. i just wear black underwear with them. i'm also a little worried that they will fall apart if washed too much or if i snag them on something, because the fabric feels very fragile.
