We love this dress! If you are looking for a 50's style party dress then this rockabilly dress is for you! I bought this dress for my 11 year old daughter for her 1950's style school dance. She didn't want to wear a poodle skirt as she likes to stand out and this dress did it! She usually wears size 7/8 dresses, but since this dress is based on age and the size chart says 9 years is roughly equivalent to 7/8, we went with a size 9. The dress was very fitted at the top and the bottom of the dress was very flowy which was perfect for the time. The armholes were very long so I recommend your little girl wear a tank top or sports bra with a dress to make her less visible through the armholes if your little one likes to raise her arms while dancing.
