Review on 💡 Leviton 19980 M Interior Incandescent Lampholder: Exquisite Illumination Solution by Mark Greenwood

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm an ER nurse with a healthy fear of electricity. Also, I don't know anything about the wired DIY side. After four years of asking my husband to fix one of a few lights, I quickly searched Revain and found this replacement Leviton socket and Revain how-to video. The item has arrived in good condition. The pull cord was slightly shorter than the original defective unit but still worked. The new Leviton block didn't have wires painted silver and gold like in the video. But a quick google search told me the finned wire is a neutral or a silver wire, so I figured out which one to connect. I am very proud that I was able to do this successfully myself. I found the socket to be a little warped, but the metal was malleable enough that I was able to carefully insert the bulb into the socket. Nice that the matching bulbs are working again.
