In a house full of people with weighted blankets, our daughter was the last woman standing without her. We were looking for the PERFECT fit for her. She loves the feel of a soft minky throw and purple has been her FAVORITE color for 6 years! This was our must-have blanket! The duvet is just the feel she craves and the color is vibrant. The beads are evenly spaced, which definitely can't be said for all weighted blankets (trust us! We just brought back another brand for this special edition 😒). Our daughter is 48 inches and 45 pounds. She sleeps curled up like a cat so this size fits. She could have used a heavier blanket but said her brother's 7lb blanket was too heavy for her. It was a pleasure to sling over your shoulders, use on your lap at the dining table, or use as a weighted blanket for a 19" American doll! In general, I definitely recommend it!
