Replaced OEM nuts on 2013 Ford Escape. The original lug nuts were chrome plated, which swelled over time causing the glans cap to rotate around the nut itself. At first I panicked thinking someone had twisted and snapped off the nuts as they too were round and deformed/oversized. For the first wheel, after figuring out what was going on, I had to break the chisel and gouge out three of the five. Chrome caps to show off real nuts. I used the rest of the nuts with a hammer to hammer the socket onto the base. These new nuts are strong and sharp looking. On my Ford they are only slightly longer than the original, but I like the look better. I'm also glad I discovered this issue by replacing the ABS sensor at home instead of trying to change a flat tire on the road. Overall great price and great product. The average retail price for a similar set was around $36 when I checked it out.
