After trying many different shower curtain rings each one kept causing rust on my curtain rod (just had to replace it again) even though it was "stainless steel" etc so I decided to try these . I was skeptical because they looked so fragile, but I tried not to stretch them too much when I attached them to the curtain rod. I've had them for a few days now and so far they're working great and sliding down the ledge like a feather. They also make the curtain lighter and weigh less on the stretch cornice. I had to get used to not having to pull hard to close the curtain because they made it easy to move. I ordered another set for another curtain (outside the bath, decorative), I really liked them. I will be writing another review in about 6 months to comment on how they hold up to the constant tension and movement on the rod. By the way, they are almost invisible.
