Review on Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Removing Combination by Belinda Phelps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not for acne prone skin.

Well, I've tried a lot of micellar waters. I've tried most of them at the pharmacy. People on YouTube are crazy about Bioderma so I decided to give it a try. I will compare it to my favorite and least favorite micellar water. Everything is OK. Make-up washes off perfectly. But it smells disgusting. They sent really hard alcohol but I couldn't find the alcohol on the ingredients list so I don't know what it is. It irritated my skin and gave me a little flare (I have sensitive, acne-prone skin). It also stung my eyes when I took off my eye makeup (I have sensitive eyes too). I would say it's not as bad as Garnier's micellar water. This is my least favorite because it leaves a greasy film on my face and causes painful acne. Bioderma didn't necessarily lead to painful breakouts. I had very light breakouts around the T-zone even after cleaning twice. Bioderma quickly removes make-up without drying out the skin. But I still felt the need to do a double cleanse and then apply a moisturizer afterwards. It's honestly not terrible, but I'll go back to my plain micellar water after this bottle runs out. I love it. It doesn't have a strong smell. It won't break me It doesn't leave a film on my face, doesn't sting my skin or sting my eyes. I don't need double cleaning. If you don't have sensitive acne-prone skin or sensitive eyes this might be great for you, but as someone who uses a lot of makeup and also fights acne, this product isn't for me and I'll go back to my basics micellar water.
