What could be better? Some peace of mind when mom can take a quick shower while her 3 year old plays in the tub next to the shower in the main bathroom. Having a toy that pumps water so he can have a working faucet without having to turn on the actual bathtub faucet, which is a dream come true for someone who used to clean up after an overflowing bath and a rambunctious little one who insisted didn't have to "didn't have that. there's still water left." This toy was the answer to the fact that I was going insane while my husband was away from work and I desperately needed a few moments to not get on it climbing, or the overwhelming, mind-numbing experience accompanied by a loud screeching in my ear.. No. not that mommy. We had this awesome bathtub spout toy that I could throw my boy in when the outside wasn't good enough to slide him out to play with the water table. To be honest I wanted to love this toy a lot more than I did.. I LOVE the idea of this toy v much more than my love of the toy itself. It was so much fun to build for my boy (3) but the engine died quickly. At the time of writing this review we have had this toy for around 6 months. My son played with this in the tub about a day later until after about 4 months it stopped pumping water (you can hear the pump turning on. It just isn't actually pumping water). Now he only uses the cups to play with other toys. and sometimes he splashes the water out of the tub making me wonder if he found a pet whale. and i happen to find other parts of the star in our laundry room - but at least he still has fun with it. He loved him while he worked. I just wish it would work longer.
