Yes yes I know as long as you get a good quality HDMI 1.3a cable it doesn't matter what you want receive. It's not the most expensive cable by a long shot, though, which is a nice touch. What I really like is the USB cable that comes with it. As mentioned, the material it's made of is great (the HDMI cable is the same, but that's less of an issue as it's behind the TV and you're unlikely to ever move it). It's almost like fabric or something - I've never seen a cable made this way before. It doesn't appear to "twist" like most cables do. I would have preferred the PS3 to only use wired controllers, but this cable is a worthy compromise. To be honest I wish this was in the PS3. It also has a length of 10 feet, which is great. I've actually found a use for the short USB cable that came with the PS3 to connect the PS2/PS1 memory card adapter as it just needs to be placed next to the system itself. Note. that these fancy USB cables are also sold individually in packs of 2 for slightly less. I also ended up buying them to connect multiple controllers.
