At first I was afraid the drawers are a combination of wood and fabric front... I thought they were flimsy but I'm so happy they are strong and all my stuff is light They are quite deep for their size. It helped me organize and I love the compact combo case with drawers and shelves...it's perfect for my dressing room...to store my sewing machine, nail products, wax machine and even my hats...drawers like I said which is great because I everything can be pulled out to use and put back in for storage, and it doesn't take up much space.
