worked great for my opinion

worked great on my 1959 thunderbird. Was worried that i was going to have to replace the studs but this saved it. Thanks for attention.

Pros

Kind of a pain to keep the two halves engaged, but works well and if you need a split die this one works

Cons

The Steelman Professional M14-1.50 Metric Split Die Thread Chaser requires a lot of strength to use effectively

This die will do the work. I strip my wheel bolt, before going to shoo. I shop at harbor freight. It doest do the work at all on the traidition one. I look through youtube and found this die. All it need is a size 24 socket and place the die to the wall of the thread and go throught it for a 20 min. I have my nut back on with no issue. The trick is take it slow and back and forward.
