Genuine. MAKE. NO. TO BUY. THIS. This is without a doubt the WORST furniture assembly experience I have ever had. The hardware for one was dangling in the package and the other just rolling around in the box and none of the screws/fasteners fit the list of what should have been included. There were some garbled comments on how to "craft the stool so it doesn't wobble," but none of the instructions matched the blueprints, details, or the amount/type of gear included. , the cute little Allen wrench quickly went ROUND because it was such a soft fucking metal and tightening the screws was awful. I ended up having to go to the store and buy some hardware and assembly tools to make it work. I have brains and hand eye coordination and it was a NIGHTMARE. If it's serious Don't expose yourself to that. Despite the tremendous time investment (starting with expensive furniture) I have lousy, wobbly stools that I've spent many, many hours creating. I'm with the vendors who sell this useless, time-wasting crap. Sitting on the floor would have been better and I wish I had done just that.
