This is an adorable pajama set at such a great price! The shirt hugged his body a little and he was quite thin. I always try to order a little bigger so it has room to grow. But the matching pants fit exactly as expected. So it all depends on what shape you want for your baby. If I had to do it again I would buy a size up. My baby will be 7 in a month and it fits him perfectly but like I said I like it when it's a bit big. Also, it smelled awful when I opened it, so make sure to wash it before your child puts it on. But I think it might be ok
