First of all, this box is supplied unassembled. You need to turn 5 different sides (including the bottom). Anyhow, only the entry points on the "outer" sides/corners are pre-drilled, so you need to make sure the receiving plate is aligned with the corners before screwing it in. (You may want to hand-tighten the top and bottom screws on each side, and then drill through the middle screws to save time.) The wood itself is very light and soft, almost balsa-like (which it actually might be), so it is pretty simple screw.
