Due to the size alone, this case fits into a "normal" tablet. the size of an iPad in the main compartment, but not the ridiculously large laptop sizes. As I travel a lot, it's handy to have a small backpack to carry things to stow all the things I need on the plane: passport, pen, earphones, glasses case, some snacks and a small bottle of water.This bag serves it's purpose perfectly and I can use it when I'm driving around town, as a front pocket to carry no easy target for pickpockets.It's always nice to have a place to store small purchases, train tickets or brochures from museums or other attractions.The leather is very thick and durable.There are several details here regarding pockets and organization .The main bag is divided into three sections, one with an internal zip. There are two other zipped pockets on the outside of the bag: one on the back of the bag and one on the front On the side of the bag we also have a pocket with a magnetic closure - not for protecting items, but for carrying something you might need easy access to. Maybe a hat or gloves? I love the look of aged leather and the hardware (zippers, rings, clasps, etc.) is also made of quality material. I found the pockets to be surprisingly roomy and the bag expands to accommodate more than I first thought. and New York and I don't think I'll be using this bag every day but I feel it's sturdy enough to handle. I'm still getting used to the "feeling" of a small shoulder bag. The nice thing is that you can switch the strap left or right. My final opinion, if the size and style suit you, this is a great bag.
