It's always interesting to find a duvet with such a cute owl print, so I was keen to try it . The print looks good, it is very soft and pleasant to the touch. My first use of a blanket was in a colder room at home and I went from shivering to utter comfort with just this one blanket. I would say the thickness is neither too thick nor too thin and it folds down to a reasonable size. for storage without being so thin as to be transparent. Although it can be put to good use in a child's room, my purchase was primarily for myself and I am very glad I have it.
