Sooo tired of merino wool hiking socks that wear out and heal at the sole. I'm preparing for a hike in Spain and I've learned that legs are the most important thing on this hike. I had plantar fasciitis and my physical therapist referred me to Darn Tough socks. Wow! Comfortable with good padding, bold color and design, feet don't get too hot, you can wear them 3 days in a row, they don't smell and have a lifetime guarantee! Just a small minus. They are slightly smaller than stated. I ordered 2 pairs of ladies medium 7-9.5 and they are not big enough. I then gently washed them in cold water and was able to adjust them to my foot. Next time I will order ladies large. It would take too long to send them back and get a different size. On the way soon. I can replace ALL my socks with Darn Tough. I like that they are from Vermont and made there.
