I liked this dome and really wanted to like it more but there are some design flaws that made me want to return it. First of all, the loss of the viewing window to see the screen on the front of the GoPro when you buy a model with rotating red and macro filters. You can buy this dome in two versions, either with a spinning wheel that gives you red color, macro or without a filter. or with another version without a filter and only with a connection for viewing on the screen on the front of the camera. This is a huge loss for me and I don't understand why the manufacturer couldn't figure out how to do both by putting this wheel on the opposite side. Now let's talk about diving with this cute little thing. Honestly it's a great little product but it has its place in our aquatic adventures and I don't think it's the best for underwater diving. It's definitely a lot of fun with snorkeling or as I've seen in many other reviews, swimming pools as a training aid, beaches and dogs pouncing on waves etc. Well, in terms of diving, housing is a lot of work. The reason for this is that by design the dome has a decent amount of air space inside and as we all know when diving this air space means that the hull has positive buoyancy underwater. Have you ever tried holding a soccer ball under 4 feet of water in a pool? It's fun, but you get tired very quickly! So I think for general diving you need to understand significant positive buoyancy and you either need to change the shroud from this fun above water box before going deep into a regular underwater box or add some weight to the canopy to allow you to do this . do. neutral and doesn't feel like you're fighting it the whole dive. For me the loss of viewports when buying the red/macro lens option is enough, to drop them. and I was able to solve the buoyancy problem.
