Solid material but difficult to wear

Great glass! Hard material I like it but hard to hold to drink it. My kids love using it; I think it's fun. But my husband finds it too bulky and heavy - he refuses to use it. It is inconvenient to carry and take with you for outdoor use. I only feel fit for home use. Finally, when it comes to cold drinks for indoor use - I put 2 large square ice cubes (e.g. 2"x 2"), I've found that even after 6 hours in this glass, 2 ice cubes still don't melt. Surprise!
