Spoons broke after 1 month

I bought this for Thanksgiving. I have used it with my family very carefully maybe 4 or 5 times. Tonight at Christmas dinner a piece of wood broke off the spoon and ended up in the salad. The bowl is nice but the spoons feel odd and cheaply made.
