Not the strongest but not bad. I have several of these that I keep in different locations so I always have one with me to get sound into my hearing aids. The cable is very heavy, I would prefer something thinner. However, when they stopped working, for me it was always where the cable meets the end of the connector's rubber bezel. Sometimes I get a little more utility out of one by bending it until it connects.
