The GV 109 is a toy truck with lots of power. We bought this in June as a birthday gift for my son. When we opened it in early October, the steering wheel stopped working after just a few minutes of gameplay. The warranty has expired, that's ok. My problem started when I took the truck apart to look at the steering servo. I had to remove other parts and found no grease on the spur gear and pinion, forcing me to open the differentials where there was no grease either. Then I pull out the steering servo because it turned out to be quite stiff. During this time I sent a few emails to the company hoping they would help me purchase a new servo. However, they were undeterred. This was an easy fix that the hobby shop was able to point me to. So if you buy one of these machines there is a clip around the white plastic (servo saver) on the outside of the steering servo, gently squeeze it with pliers. This solved my problem. The truck works great, the company doesn't exist in dealing with customers. Is it worth it, probably. We paid $51 on sale in June. The remote control is very good, the tires are tough, the LEDs are good. Trucks get 4 stars for price and fun. It would be nice if customer support was included. Update: My servo clip fix seems to be working. My next step is to find a clamp at a hardware store or local parts store that is tighter and works, but still no response to my emails.
