Easy to install and use

I received this blue light blocking screen protector for my MacBook Air today. It was very easy to put on. It has a magnetic strip on the top that keeps it in place; The back is non-adhesive. So far everything is working and holding up. It fits snugly into the frame on three sides of my screen, but of course the magnetic strip fits on top of the frame. There is a hole for the camera lens. The laptop still goes to sleep as usual when the lid is closed. My Air doesn't have a touchscreen, so I don't know how well the lid would work if it had one. I don't notice any color or other visual changes from this filter; I just hope it actually filters out most of the blue light as advertised to protect my eyes from retinal damage from blue light. The very brief instructions said only one of the covers needed to be removed, but I removed them from both sides of the filter profile. The protector comes off but stays on well. It's very easy to use and I'm happy with it so far. FYI, Blue Light Exposure: Computer screens, video and phone screens, televisions, fluorescent and LED light bulbs, and sunlight emit large amounts of blue light, which is harmful to the retina and can contribute to macular degeneration, a leading cause of macular blindness in the United States. Screen filters, Rx-free glasses that filter blue light, and blue light filters in prescription glasses and sunglasses are available. Unfortunately, UV filters do not filter blue light. Incandescent bulbs don't emit much blue light, and the Trump administration has allowed their sale back in the United States. They used to be banned and are no longer made here, but fortunately they are available. to buy later. I am taking steps to eliminate any further blue light damage to my eyes as much as possible as I was recently diagnosed with Macular Degeneration.
