This is the same thing some other reviewers have written about - I adopted a picky Chihuahua from a shelter and couldn't find any dog food to eat her. I've literally tried over 50 different types of dry and canned, I've even tried a tube of Natural Balance. She hated them all. The only thing she ate was the canned food I fed the cats! The vet said the cat food wasn't nutritious enough and I had to find dog food that she could eat. For a while I even tried to cook homemade food for her, but I was concerned that it wasn't very nutritious and she was getting fat. it's closed. The exact opposite problem of fasting for junk dog food! Finally, a friend shared her Red Barn Beef Roll, which she uses to work out treats. My little chihuahua ate it and begged for MORE! I bought a bun for fear that once I had a whole bun, my chihuahua would suddenly hate it. But since it was relatively cheap and had free shipping with Prime, I thought it might be worth a try. I am happy to report that we are halfway through our first litter and she is still begging for it! Now the hardest thing is not to overdo it to keep her weight at the right level. I give her half her daily ration as training treats and the other half as food that she eats as quickly as possible. Thank you Revane and thank you Red Barn!
