After you unbox this awesome little white noise sound machine, DO NOT do what I did! I immediately plugged this device into an outlet to charge the battery. In most cases, devices now come to you partially or almost fully charged. So I waited and waited and waited some more until the power LED either turned green or just went out. The light never turned green or went out to indicate it was fully charged. I sat SMH for a while and then opened the instruction manual. I flipped through the manual, then FINALLY read the last page, there's NO BATTERY in there hahaha. I felt so stupid after waiting so long for it to charge, but the product ad didn't say anything about it being a plug-in device! NOTE TO YOURSELF: Read the instructions from here before you just plug it in and wait for it to charge! This little giant does a great job of creating a variety of white noise in your room. I generally don't sleep well and I usually hear everything that's going on around the house when I'm trying to rest. This sound machine really helps me fall asleep and also sleep longer than without it. It has 30 built-in natural loop sounds. It also comes with a built-in auto-off timer, which is a big plus. In fact, I'm very pleased that this is a plug-in type sound machine and doesn't need to be charged to use it. All the different built-in sounds are soothing and pleasant. The volume control settings offer a good range of sounds, which definitely helps me sleep. I have to turn it on, probably louder than most as I always hear something inside the house and outside like lawn mowers and things like that. This sound machine helps drown out all those annoying noises! This unit also has a nice adjustable warm light built into its top. The device provides enough light to see in your room when the room is dark enough to allow your eyes to fully adjust to the darkness. It's definitely small enough to take with you when you travel. It's also a great gift for those who have trouble falling asleep, as well as those with young children. A built in light is a huge plus when it comes to your little ones! I would definitely recommend this product as it works for me and does what it was designed to do. It comes at a fair price and goes well with other similar products with the same features.
