Review on Unleash High-Performance with AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT Processor & Wraith Spire Cooler by Kung Chai ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

IMHO a popular processor, but you have to wait for the normal BIOS and settings for working with kernels in Windows (although 1usmus power plan solves these issues on 12202222). I moved from FX-8150, I’m happy as an elephant for the next 7-8 years. The processor is suitable for those who want to play and work in software, although it’s better to take Intel for Igor, although prices for it are still high. The processor consumes not 65 watts, but in the range [15; 90] Watts in IDLE and maximum load without overclocking in LinX, respectively. Under custom water, I have not seen above 68 degrees Celsius, at a room temperature of 298K. You can forget about overclocking zen 2, since almost everything was already squeezed out at the factory. In a year, the price will generally be below $200. The time for FX has passed.

Pros
  • Great price for 6 cores. Low power consumption. It drives memory well in the presence of a head and straight arms. In games, comparable to 7 3700x. Supported by previous AMD motherboards on socket am4.
Cons
  • The small area of the crystal leads to relatively high heating. Increased memory latency due to chiplet design. Boards on 300s and 400s chipsets without BIOS firmware will not start if the motherboard does not have a flashback.

Its pros: Value for money, after the i5 4th generation it's just a leap forward. Performance is sufficient for normal tasks and most games Different cons: BOX cooler is just complete. I had to buy a normal cooler for 2k and it is much better
