I was looking for a replacement for a very weak Delta showerhead that I had at home from day one. For some reason I was very indecisive and it took me a whole year to finally make it! I reviewed some of the bigger brands like Kohler, Moen, and Delta but didn't find any that I really liked. Many reviews said the water pressure was weak. At least for the models that seemed beautiful to me. And it would require additional DIY work to "fix" it, which I didn't want. Especially with such high prices. I read a few reviews before finally giving in to this one. Despite such criticisms about water pressure, I believed in the Waterpik brand. First, yes, it's definitely NOT metal, it's plastic. As for the price, I can see some people will be upset about it. It doesn't bother me too much since it's simple. Installation was pretty easy - took me about half an hour. Of course, after the installation was complete, I had to test. There are a few switches to become familiar with: the large one on the left controls the on/off switch between the main shower head and the hand control; A switch on the main shower head controls 4 settings - I used the last setting which seemed the most relaxing and even on that setting I felt the water pressure was good. Other settings are slightly stronger for massage etc.; A switch on the portable controls three pressures. Again, the last setting seemed the easiest for my skin. I read a few reviews that said other settings felt like needles piercing the skin. Which is not surprising considering what the Waterpik brand is really known for. rather big. The cord is long enough to reach the shower floor and I can use it to bathe my dog. And one last thing, which shower head do other people use when they think the pressure on it is weak?! Geeshus. I found the pressure on it to be pretty good compared to my old Delta. Spring. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Fingers crossed, I've had enough!
