Worked great for half a year then a really faint squeaking started, I have tinnitus and at first I thought it was but after a few nights of madness I discovered it was an extension cord was. If you buy this, don't use it in your bedroom. Your sleep will suffer. UPDATE I contacted the seller and he gave me a 50% refund for this piece of junk which is better than nothing except for a product that only lasted six months. Should have been a full refund. I will never buy anything from this buyer again. Since the last beep, the strip is now humming high, it sounds like a capacitor is discharging, similar to the sound of an old flashgun being charged. I'll probably cut the cable and turn this in once I have a UL approved replacement. I definitely don't leave it on when I'm not at home for fear of fire. I've seen many of these Chinese-made strips catch fire while in action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
