Won't fit my 1/8 " cord - inaccurate ad

I bought a heart shaped lock for my 1/8 inch round cord based on photos that showed it could be used with this size cord. It absolutely doesn't work. The hole is too small and the silicone doesn't expand enough for the cable to pass through. I have included photos showing the cord in relation to the size of the hole and the included threading tool (pen). Even a stringed instrument cannot go through the hole without great effort.
